Dental Insurance

Insurance companies have very different goals than their clients and providers. They are driven solely by the “bottom line” for their profits, whereas you are seeking the best possible care and results.

Unfortunately, insurance plans pay less than the cost of providing top quality restorations. However, since most insurance policies have a $1,500-$2,500 annual maximum, this is usually not as much as a factor as you would expect. Your benefits will likely extend to part of the cost of treatment, and you will be responsible for the remainder.

Know that your investment is intact with us. Our high-quality crowns offer you at least a 300% return on your investment because they last over 35 years on average. This is significantly longer than the national average of 5-10 years. We never compromise on quality.

The Insurance Process

For most restorative procedures, you will receive a 2-part form at the end of the visit; one for your receipt of payment and one for your submission to your insurance company.

For more extensive therapy, a Pre-Determination of Benefits is often submitted prior to treatment. We will assist you in completing this form which will list the proposed procedures. Your insurance company will then estimate the amount of benefit you will receive for the proposed procedures. Once treatment has been rendered, we will record the required completion date and provide forms for you to submit for reimbursement.

Please note that, as a service to our patients, we make every effort to assure that your company properly reimburses you for our “out of network” services.

As a convenience for our patients with dental insurance, our office will submit the charges to your insurance carrier at no extra cost. We do ask that patients provide us with their dental insurance information card at or before their appointment.

How Much Will My Dental Procedure Cost?

In most instances, we will provide you with alternative treatment options, along with several financial payment plans. We will work with you to establish the plan and treatment time frame that works within your budget. The majority of our patients are able to work the chosen treatment plan to fit within their financial means.

Our fees are determined by the complexity of the restorative procedure, and by the duration of the therapy. Fees for routine and restorative treatment are due at the time that the service is rendered. For extensive therapy, a payment plan that fits within your budget will be individually tailored to coincide with the duration of the treatment.
